Canada Day 2025 in Parksville will celebrate the 158th anniversary of Canada’s confederation, the City of Parksville’s 80th birthday and the 50th anniversary of the Mount Arrowsmith Pipe Band. Once again, we are busy planning a great family-friendly event for the community with a little more of everything. On Canada Day, we come together to celebrate and shine a light on our country and whatever it is that makes you proud! We hope you will share in the day and connect with families, neighbours and friends at Parksville’s Canada Day festivities.

Things we’d like you to know about Canada Day in Parksville

  • Free family-friendly fun in the sun kicks off with the Parksville Canada Day parade followed by activities and entertainment in the Parksville Community Park.
  • Entertainment and kids’ activities in gathering plaza from 1 pm to 9 pm.
  • Food trucks in the parking lot by the sport fields from 11 am through early evening.
  • Sandcastle Drive to Arbutus Point will be closed to vehicles with general parking in the gravel lot and accessible parking will be within the park.
  • Parksville Chamber will host Summer by the Sea Street Market on Craig Street from 6- 9 pm.
