Consultation has concluded
To celebrate the holiday season, two free community events will be hosted by the City of Parksville in December. More details will be posted to the City’s website and social media as they become available. Please mark your calendars and join us for some holiday cheer.
We hope these special events will help inspire the holiday spirit. We last held the Cookies & Carols event in 2019 and are excited to be able tovisit with our residents in person once again.
Cookies & Carols - December 8, 12.30 to 1.30 pm Join the City to celebrate the season with a lunch time performance by the Craig Bay Choristers (sing along encouraged). Enjoy Christmas cookies, music, and holiday cheer at this free event to be held in the Forum, Parksville Civic and Technology Centre, 100 Jensen Avenue East.
Mistletoe on Memorial - December 9, 5.30 to 7 pm - CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS Join the City and the Parksville Downtown Business Association for a Christmas celebration at the new Memorial Plaza, located at Alberni Highway and Memorial Avenue. The plaza will be decorated for the holidays and there will be mistletoe so bring your camera for a selfie. The event will feature music with a DJ and a performance by the Oceanside Concert Band, refreshments including hot chocolate and popcorn sponsored by the Coastal Community Credit Union, a visit from Santa, and lots of holiday cheer. Everyone welcome at this family friendly community event. Let’s meet under the mistletoe on Memorial!
