Craig the Magician, 1-7 pm Craig The Magician is one of BC's top entertainers, a family favourite at fairs, birthdays and company events. Highly interactive so everyone gets involved, Craig is known for his comedy, interaction and inventive magic! Wherever he goes, gasps and laughs and giggles abound! Watch for him at the gathering plaza and roving the Parksville Community Park, from 1 to 7 pm.
Sandcastle building with David Kaube and Parksville Beach Festival staff, 2- 5 pm David, a regular on the sand sculpting circuit, studied visual arts and animation at Vancouver Island University, dabbled in professional photography, and has two screenplays registered with the Writers Guild of America. Though he’s never taken a sculpting class, he’s been paid to teach one, proof that creativity often carves its own path.
