Parksville 2022 Open Budget Meetings

City of Parksville open budget deliberation meetings to discuss the 2022-2026 financial plan are scheduled in the Forum, Parksville Civic and Technology Centre as follows:
Wednesday, March 23 at 6 pm
Wednesday, March 30 at 6 pm
Wednesday, April 13 at 6 pm
Monday, April 25 at 6 pm (if required)
Public input into the budget is an important part of the financial planning process. Here are the ways residents may engage in the budget process:
- Attend the meetings in person. Masks are mandatory while in the building and please stay home if sick or feeling unwell.
- Submit comments by email to council@parksville.ca.
- For comments to be considered by Council during the meetings, should be received by 4 pm on these days prior to the scheduled meeting - March 22, March 29, April 12 and April 22.
- Budget deliberation meetings may be viewed live through webstreaming from the City’s website.
- Comments, questions and ideas may be posted to the City’s online engagement site, Let’s Talk Parksville.
Please note, all comments received by the City about budget deliberations will form part of the public record.
