Tennis Courts to Be Converted to Pickleball Courts

The City of Parksville’s pickleball court project will convert the existing tennis court in Parksville Community Park into four dedicated pickleball courts and include fencing upgrades. Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 29 and weather permitting, is expected to be completed within two to three weeks.

The existing pickleball courts are expected to remain open during construction; however, short-term closures may be required. Please be advised that construction activity may result in noise, debris and water affecting the existing courts. Users enter and play at their own risk. For your safety, we ask you to respect all posted signage, stay out of closed construction areas, and follow any direction provided by City staff or the contractor performing the work.
