Phase 2 - Detailed Design Phase

During the design phase, the public will be asked for input on the plan elements. Project consultants will then refine the scope, design components and facility programming based on this input received through extensive public and stakeholder community engagement.

When a location is chosen, the City will undertake many professional assessments and studies such as hydrogeological assessment, detailed ecological and riparian area assessment, detailed traffic study, geotechnical analysis of proposed building area and servicing requirements. As well, this stage will address sustainability and accessibility considerations.
