Share Hello, I previously asked a question about where your non potable water is coming from, you replied a well. Thank you I visited the well site on the corner of Industrial Way and Franklin Gull out of curiosity. I see that under the new Water Sustainability Act that wells used for purposes other than household use have to get a license. Does the City of Parksville have a license to operate this non potable water supply well at the corner of Industrial Way and Franklin Gull? Furthermore, the Provincial Govt has been asking water users to reduce how much they are using. Is the City reducing water use from this well? Thank you RoseAnne McQueen on Facebook Share Hello, I previously asked a question about where your non potable water is coming from, you replied a well. Rose Anne McQueen asked about 1 year agoThe Industrial Way well information is logged or available on the province website, BC Groundwater Wells and Aquifers, at this link.

The Industrial Way well has been used this year to keep up with the routine operations and maintenance activities. We have reduced or deferred some activities using this wateruntil later in the season (fall or spring) at much as possible.

TerriD asked over 2 years agoGood afternoon,
Thank you for your message. This year's theme for the garden at Pym Street and Island Highway was the four seasons with each of the four "trees" planted representing a season.
