How do I vote if I just moved here, have filed a tax return from my present address but haven’t received anything about voting tomorrow?

    Helen asked 8 months ago

Information is included on Let's Talk Parksville. Please bring two pieces of identification to vote; at least one piece of identification should have your signature. https://letstalkparksville.ca/voter-information

Does Parksville post the number of votes in the advance poll like Qualicum Beach does and if so where is it on the website? Regards Tim Pritchard The Town’s Chief Election Officer reports that 1,265 electors chose to vote on the second day of Advance Voting. This amount, combined with the first day of Advance Voting (1,012) brought the total number of ballots cast so far to 2,277.

Hi Tim, we do not publish the numbers the same as Qualicum Beach but have provided to the media. For your info, 532 voted at the first advance voting and 1,094 at yesterday's second advance voting.

Is there any provision for voting if a voter will not physically be in Parksville on voting day or any of the advance poll days?

Deb Seibel asked 9 months ago

There are three voting opportunities only; advance voting on October 5 and 12 and voting day on October 15.
